Is it a hit or a miss? Here's my take
The hotel staff was friendly! The breakfast selection was diverse and delicious!
There was a frustratingly slow check-in process, and food allergy accommodations were seriously lacking.

Greatly enjoyed my such wonderful stay which was extended to 5 weeks in the coldest and darkest part of Norwegian winter. The hotel's location was central, to far from city centre👌

The stuff was welcoming, so I would stay here again. Bed was good and the room was brand-new and reasonably large. The location was unbeatable and magnificent for walking around Leo's Lekeland. The hotel was a welcome base for enjoying a pretty quiet area. I loved the good restaurant and the food was fabulous.

The breakfast was a total disaster, I mean dry pancakes? Really? Not up to scandic standard. Plus, the reception staff was too busy chatting to even notice me waiting like I was invisible. I almost left a good review, but how could I when I didn't even get a room upgrade or any apology for the inconvenience?

We would happily return on our next trip to Stavanger. Location, an easy walk to all attractions. It is right by the airport.
Nothing to mention.

Have booked and got confirmation by mail that I should have a King Size bed. My Bed was 120cm x 200cm King size in Norway should be 180cmx200cm and to make the bed they using 2 sheets! Splitted in middle of bed so when you wake up (if you can sleep) you laying directly on mattress!! Breakfast good except coffe, 1st day I get no coffe because machine was broken, 2nd day machine running but coffe has no strenght, can not understand that a new hotel dont have any espresso machine!? Coffe you get in Norway is very weak and a hotel like this should have options! Next time this hotel will not be my first choise.

There was an evening buffet where I was able to get enough to eat as a vegetarian without ordering a la carte. The waitress even offered to give me a discount.
The situation is not very convenient for extensive shopping on foot (though there are a few large ones) or for alternative eating places on foot. However, there is a good taxi service due to this neing a district for large oil companies and businesses, and a bus service to the town centre

Perfect retreat for families and business travelers
I was impressed by the spacious junior suite that allowed my family plenty of room to relax. The breakfast was a highlight, with a well-organized buffet with a variety of options including local specialties, and the kids loved the pancake section set up just for them. The hotel's location was convenient for accessing nearby attractions and offered free parking during the weekend. The layout was a bit unusual with long corridors, but it didn't detract from our stay.

Bar area and breakfast was nice.
Very long walks from elevator to room. No Internet access while I was there, not good as this is a typical business hotel. Bar staff not too friendly.
